Record Notes for Poss/Stenger selection:

A reel of two-inch tape weighs about 10 pounds. We took a few hundred pounds of Band of Susans 24-track masters from 1986-1993 over to Baby Monster Studio and matched and mixed some essential ingredients: droning feedback, a stretched and looped freight train cross-rhythm, a favorite bass chord unearthed and expanded, tremelos of every persuasion, and a quick scan of B.O.S. his/herstory using the skip-play function on several CD players. Trial, error, chance, and design -- shaken, not stirred. (Robert Poss, Susan Stenger)
