The band at play:

Notes: Susan and Mark at the G&L guitar factory in Fullerton, California. On this same trip, Robert experienced the greatest moment of his life when the band was ushered into Leo Fender's office to meet the man himself... and saw that Leo had a LOVE AGENDA poster on his wall!

Notes: Anne Husick stands around while on tour in Hamburg, Germany.

Susan and Mark: "we

Notes: "We'll teach you to play today" -- Susan and Mark on a day off at North Carolina State Fair during the 1993 tour. This is a good example of the Band of Susans' oblique sense of humor (not always readily discernable from the moody tone of their albums) -- Susan, a classically-trained flautist, learned to play bass specifically for Band of Susans, and Mark Lonergan used to write guitar instruction books for Mel Bay.

Notes: Clowning around while on tour in Seattle. Mark has obviously been practicing his Rockette moves!
